Growing up, I was continuously surrounded by the arts and creativity. Art was a part of our lives and flowed from the people who were around me. Cousins, Aunts and Uncles who would played instruments, sing or recited poetry taught me expression through creativity and storytelling through art. I learned that it can be an expression of humanity. I dabbled in it all. I painted, danced, sang and played instruments. The arts was and is my playground and I learned to love the process of creating.

Whether it is Music, Theater or Design, all mediums have one thing that connects them to each other and humanity. Storytelling. Art. Expression. Past our cultures, language, politics and differences, Stories have the power to unite us and connect us to the human condition we all share. We feel pain, happiness, loneliness. Despair. Joy. Not matter what culture or age, that it what unifies us. Our humanity.

My passion is to bring light to stories and beauty that connects us and the world around us. Stories that can bring light to the humanity in all of us and to see that we are all created with purpose and dignity.
